Blogger -Writing Tips

Here we go:
Content should be original, if not at least interesting and related to other post in your blog. People or visitors stick to blog which has some related content, this way you will have visitors who keep coming back. Don't post just for the sake of posting.Make each post a directed entry that has a purpose(excerpts from ->The Rough Guide to Blogging-Jonathan Yang)



Post Frequently- If you post once in a while, visitors will visit once in a while and sometimes your blog goes to their sleeping mind or sometime totally off mind. Post frequently so your readers have some reason to visit your blog again, again and again.



Coupling links- Its better to have some excerpts,if present on net, from other blog/website related to your topic. As very detailed post leads to boredom, let reader have a choice to continue or not. You can also have link from some older post of your blog in a new post,(Linking old post to new post is called BackLink)



Cover something new- There are thousands of websites/blogs covering the same topic, try to look for the links which are not mentioned in other blogs, look for something new. If you offer something else /new/ more relevant then others people

Truth and nothing but truth- Try to keep your post as near to reality as you can. Millions make promises but still most worthy is Gentleman's promise. Presenting false information in your blog will lead to loosing the visitors ultimately.



Interesting Post-Present your post which attracts readers, short ,sweet, little comic if possible. Tons of information flooded in a non-interesting way, ask a reader to Hit and Run. Readers will read one or a two lines and before completing run away.



Enjoy your post-Choose a work which makes you happy. Write for yourself,you will prove your self more impressive and connected to your readers.
